Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. It is 3,776 meters high and is famous not only for its height but also for its beauty. Mt. Fuji has been the symbol of Japanese beauty and is often drawn in many art pieces. It is also printed on the 1,000-yen bill. Since ancient times, the Japanese have worshipped Mt. Fuji. When they see it, they feel grateful. You can see Mt. Fuji from Tokyo on clear days, but I actually recommend seeing it from Yamanashi or Shizuoka, where it is located. You can ffeel how big it is and the energy out there.
Mt. Fuji is also special for me because it is where I had my first job. I was able to see it every day. It shows many different faces through various types of weather and seasons, which never bored me. When I felt depressed from my job, just seeing the big and beautiful Mt. Fuji cheered me up. I loved to find a place where I could see the mountain beautifully and take a picture of it. Fortunately, I took my wedding photo in my favorite place, where the Mt. Fuji was in the background. Never have I been so happy to have such a precious memory of Mt. Fuji.
