As the Winter session of Intensive English began to wrap up, there was one more activity planned for our students - mini golf! And while it may have been a cold, cloudy Friday night, the weather didn’t stop our Intensive English students from having a blast at the Holey Moley mini golf course.

Once students had arrived and grouped up with their friends, the games were on! Holey Moley has three sets of 9-hole mini golf courses, providing several hours of putting to get through all the holes.

Students could recognize several references to popular movies strewn throughout the creative and wacky mini golf courses. Perhaps the most fun hole, however, consisted of a glass box with fake money flying in all directions!

Once students had made their way through the mini golf courses, it was time to take a break for some tasty food! From pepperoni pizza to delicious drinks, there wasn’t a wrong choice on the menu after a great evening of mini golfing.

As some students began to head home for the weekend, others tried their hands at the many claw machines scattered around the courses. These fun carnival games can be a quick money burner, but for the brave, there were some enticing prizes to be won!

Once the evening fully wound down, and after eighteen holes of mini golf, all of the students had smiles on their faces! Holey Moley also offers karaoke rooms, so perhaps a return visit may be warranted?

In any case, that all concluded our last social activity of the session for our Intensive English students. But even though this session ends soon, another is starting up - with many more fun hangout opportunities to come!
